Are desserts part of a balanced diet?

Sharing is caring. Friendly reminder that healthy eating can include desserts sometimes and in small amounts. On the other hand over-restrictive eating is not sustainable and can be harmful; usually followed by binge eating leading to guilt then repeated dietary restrictions: we call that the "Diet Trap Cycle"- avoid it! This dessert contains the core food groups of dairy and fruit.
