How hungry are you on a scale from 1 to 10?

Dr Rebecca Luong

Have regular meals to keep yourself out of the Danger Zone (1-2 and 7-10) where people tend to make poorer food choices and eat more than they intended to.

To achieve or maintain a healthy weight keep within the Ideal Zone (3-6) from the beginning signs of physical hunger to feeling satisfied.

In our daily busy schedules and influences from the surrounding environment we often lose sight of our hunger signals and eat for other reasons apart from physical hunger. Stay in touch with your body by using the hunger scale from the Queensland Government. Now ask yourself, ‘How hungry am I?”
